IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw says India's space rockets will soon get homegrown chips

India will soon power its domestic space rockets with homegrown semiconductors, union minister for electronics and information technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw , has said. The announcement follows a meeting between Vaishnaw and the leadership of private space technology firm Skyroot Aerospace , coming on the heels of the successful orbital launch of their Vikram-1 rocket.
