Marvel Rivals' latest update brings new event and store items: Here's everything we know
Marvel Rivals has received a new update, version 20260521, which brings a limited-time event, fresh cosmetic items in the store and new rewards for players. Developer NetEase confirmed that the patch went live on May 21 at 09:00 UTC without any server downtime, meaning players can install the update and continue playing immediately.
The update introduces a new in-game event called “Savage Adventure,” which runs until June 25, 2026. Players completing event missions can unlock Ultron’s Cybernetic Drip costume and related bundle items for free. Additional rewards include costumes for Hela and Luna Snow.
According to the patch notes, the event will challenge players to complete objectives within Savage Land-themed missions. “The Savage Land calls, heroes! Venture into the untamed wilds where dangers lurk at every turn!” the developers said.

The update also adds several cosmetic bundles and visual upgrades to the in-game store. New limited-time items available between May 22 and June 19 include:

Additional cosmetics launching with the update include:

Some of these items became available from May 21, while others launch on May 22.
Marvel Rivals' latest update: No gameplay balance changes included in the patch
Unlike previous season updates, version 20260521 does not introduce balance adjustments, hero changes or major gameplay additions. NetEase described it as a smaller content update focused on events and cosmetic content.
The patch arrives during Season 8 and follows earlier roadmap announcements suggesting additional content updates may arrive in the coming weeks. NetEase has also hinted at more store items and future additions, although details have not yet been confirmed.
Players can download the update across all platforms, with the patch expected to be relatively small in size compared with larger seasonal releases.
