Paytm launches subscription clarity tool for UPI automatic payments

Paytm has launched a new feature that allows users to add labels to their UPI automatic payments, making it easier to identify and manage recurring subscriptions. The move addresses a growing challenge as subscription-based services expand, with multiple payments often bundled under a single merchant name.

Currently, payments processed through aggregators like app stores often appear under one merchant name — for example, Google Playstore — even if they include different services such as YouTube Premium, Google One, or ChatGPT. This makes it difficult for users to recall why a particular deduction was made.
