Silent Hill 2 comes to the PS Plus Extra and Premium October 2025 games lineup
The latest selection of PS Plus games has landed, with Silent Hill 2 and Until Dawn 2024 joining the Extra and Premium lineup for the month.
PS Plus has been pulling out all the stops recently, particularly following the significant PS Plus Essential September 2025 drop which brought Alan Wake 2 and Cocoon to players in a massive rollout. Gamers have been spoilt for choice with the PS Plus Extra and Premium September 2025 lineup offering gems like WWE 2K25 and Persona 5 Tactica.
This is made even more satisfying considering the recent Xbox Game Pass price increase, highlighting how greedy companies can become when pricing similar services.
For now, players are safe from escalating costs. Although there's a possibility that PlayStation may ramp up the cost of the service in the future, we can currently look forward to some new titles.
Even though these titles haven't quite lived up to the PS Plus Extra and Premium October 2025 predictions, it doesn't mean we don't have some cracking games on the horizon, especially for horror enthusiasts.
So, what exactly is coming to the PS Plus service for its top-tier players?

PS Plus Extra and Premium October 2025 gamesHere's everything coming to the games roster in the PS Plus Extra and Premium October 2025 games, as unveiled in a new blog post:
Here's everything coming to the Extra lineup this month:
- Silent Hill 2 (PS5)
- Until Dawn 2024 (PS5)
- Yakuza: Like A Dragon (PS5 | PS4)
- As Dusk Falls (PS5 | PS4)
- V Rising (PS5)
- Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1 (PS5 | PS4)
- Wizard with a Gun (PS5)
Here's what's coming to the Premium roster of the service in October:
- Tekken 3 (PS5 | PS4)
This is a rather impressive lineup, particularly for horror enthusiasts. The inclusion of Silent Hill 2 makes this iconic classic much more accessible to players.
Despite criticisms that Until Dawn's 2024 remake didn't alter enough of the original game's experience, we're still better off having access to the most visually stunning version of the game, which is essentially an interactive horror film.
These games will be available from Tuesday, 21st October, so get ready for a plethora of new games then. See you in the foggy streets of Silent Hill (even if visibility is limited).
