AIMIM Eyes Major Expansion In UP, Opens Door To Possible BSP Alliance | Watch

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has launched preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, with plans to contest up to 200 seats. The party has identified western UP and the Awadh region as key expansion zones and remains open to alliances, including with the BSP. Owaisi's outreach aims to attract Muslim voters traditionally aligned with the Samajwadi Party while also exploring a Dalit-Muslim political coalition. AIMIM has reorganised its UP unit and is preparing for an extensive statewide campaign.
