Aliganj Fire: Jyoti's Brother Alleges Corruption, Seeks Murder Charges Against Officials

The brother of Aliganj fire victim Jyoti has launched a scathing attack on the administration, accusing officials of enabling an unsafe building through corruption. Satyam has demanded murder charges against the builder and officials who allegedly approved the structure without proper safety checks. He claimed the victims were trapped after the only staircase filled with smoke while the terrace door remained locked. Calling the tragedy a failure of the system, he said he no longer has faith in government institutions despite the announcement of an SIT investigation.
