'Atmanirbhar Navy': PM Modi To Commission 3 Indigenous Naval Warships In Kolkata | Watch

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will commission three indigenously-built Indian Navy platforms — INS Dunagiri, INS Sanshodhak and INS Agray — in Kolkata. Designed by the Navy's Warship Design Bureau and built by GRSE, the vessels will strengthen maritime combat, hydrographic surveying and anti-submarine warfare capabilities. INS Dunagiri is a BrahMos-equipped stealth frigate, INS Sanshodhak is an advanced survey vessel, and INS Agray is an anti-submarine warfare craft. All three platforms have over 75% indigenous content and were built with support from more than 200 MSMEs. The induction marks a major boost to India's maritime power and Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
