Bageshwar Baba Dhirendra Shastri's Brother Arrested For Firing At Farmer In Madhya Pradesh

Shaligram Garg, the brother of Bageshwar Dham head priest Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, has been arrested in connection with an alleged attempt to murder following a shooting during a land dispute in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur district. Police said Garg and another accused, Ankit Mishra, were arrested after a farmer was allegedly shot during an altercation. The victim, Motilal Kushwaha, alleged that Garg and his associates assaulted him before opening fire, leaving him critically injured. He is currently undergoing treatment at the Medical College in Gwalior. Reacting to the incident, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri distanced himself from his brother, saying he has no connection with him and that the law should take its course. Police said the investigation is continuing.
