Bihar Withdraws F.I.Rs Against NEET Protesters, Orders Release Of All Arrested In July 25 Cases

The Bihar government has announced the withdrawal of FIRs against all protesters arrested during the July 25 NEET UG bandh, ordering their release and ending further legal action in cases registered until 6 PM on July 26. The decision follows widespread violence that injured police personnel, administrative officers and civilians. Meanwhile, the Cockroach Janta Party has welcomed the move but warned that nationwide protests could resume unless all protest-related FIRs across the country are withdrawn, as promised during talks with the Centre.
