'Black Magic, Cow Urine': Shiv Sena (UBT) Leader's Daughter-In-Law Makes Shocking Allegations
A woman has accused her husband and in-laws, including former Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Vinayak Raut, of subjecting her to years of alleged mental and physical harassment in Maharashtra's Thane district. In her complaint, Girija Raut alleged she was forced to drink cow urine, taken to self-styled godmen for rituals, and had strands of her hair plucked for alleged black magic practices. She also claimed her in-laws blamed marital problems on supernatural causes and made her undergo rituals despite her medical condition. Based on the complaint, police have registered a case under the Maharashtra Anti-Black Magic Act and relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Vinayak Raut has denied the allegations, calling them retaliatory and linking them to an ongoing alimony dispute. Police said the investigation is underway.
