'Cancel Exams, Take Action': Jharkhand LoP Babulal Marandi Slams Soren Govt, Backs Student Protests

In an exclusive conversation with Times of India, BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in the Jharkhand Assembly, Babulal Marandi, spoke about the ongoing student protest in Ranchi over alleged irregularities in JPSC and JSSC examinations. Marandi said the opposition met protesting students to understand their concerns and assured them that their demands would be raised inside the Assembly and, if needed, on the streets. He supported demands for cancellation of disputed examinations, action against those responsible, and a High Court-monitored CBI probe. Marandi said the issue concerns the future of Jharkhand’s youth and should not be viewed only as a political matter.
