Thousands of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) supporters gathered in Delhi for the 'Chalo Sansad' march, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. Heavy security was deployed across central Delhi, with police denying permission for the march under Section 163 BNSS. Reports said tear gas was fired and mild force used after some protesters allegedly attempted to breach barricades, while several demonstrators were detained. Delhi Police denied allegations of excessive force. The protest disrupted traffic and metro services, with security tightened around Parliament. Meanwhile, CJP representatives held talks with Union Health Minister J P Nadda after the Centre reached out, signalling the possibility of dialogue amid the ongoing agitation.
