India Responds After Pakistan Deploys Chinese SH-15 Howitzers Along Border

India has issued a strong response after reports said Pakistan deployed around 250 Chinese-made SH-15 self-propelled howitzers along sectors facing India. The Ministry of External Affairs said New Delhi will do "whatever is necessary" to protect its national interest and reiterated its firm stance against cross-border terrorism. The deployment is part of Pakistan's artillery modernisation programme, while India continues to strengthen its own capabilities with platforms such as the M777, K-9 Vajra, Dhanush and the indigenous ATAGS.
