'Insult To Shivaji, Bhagat Singh': CJP Founder Dipke Demands ACP's Suspension Over Library Row
Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has accused the Delhi Police of disrespecting books on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Bhagat Singh during action against students at Jantar Mantar. In a post on X, Dipke alleged that ACP Ajay Sharma and his team threw away books while removing a makeshift library set up by protesting students amid the ongoing agitation over alleged examination irregularities. He also claimed that students were assaulted during the operation and demanded the immediate suspension of the officer, alleging that discarding the books amounted to insulting the two historical figures. The Delhi Police has not issued an official response to the allegations. The protest, led by the CJP over alleged irregularities in the examination system, entered its thirteenth day, with activist Sonam Wangchuk continuing his hunger strike.
