Referring to the recent attack near the Strait of Hormuz that claimed the lives of three Indian seafarers, he expressed confidence that any future deal involving Iran would address and prioritise their safety. Trump acknowledged the incident, calling seafaring a “rough profession” and said both countries continue to work together on maritime security.
