MP Kapil Sibal Flags Constitutional Breach in TMC Rebels’ Merger Attempt

The TMC Rebel MPs have announced to seek a Merger with the Nationalist Citizens’ Party of India (NCPI). This has taken a sharp legal turn as senior Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal calls for the disqualification of rebel MPs.In a strong statement, Sibal has termed the move a “theatre of the absurd,” questioning the very legality of the proposed merger.
