'Pakistan-Based Handles, Suvendu On Target': Bengal STF Uncovers Shocking 'Jaish Module'

The West Bengal Police's Special Task Force (STF) has arrested a woman from Jharkhand in connection with its probe into a suspected Jaish-e-Mohammed module operating in the state. The accused, identified as Arpita Sarkar, was arrested from Sahibganj district and is alleged to have assisted suspected Jaish operative Mohammad Hamim Mondal in running a "honey-trap" network. According to STF officials, she allegedly helped collect sensitive personal information about influential political leaders in West Bengal. Investigators are examining whether the information was intended to facilitate future terror attacks or other anti-national activities. Mondal was arrested earlier from Bardhaman and is suspected to be part of an ISI-backed Jaish-e-Mohammed network tasked with gathering intelligence on VIPs and recruiting operatives.
