PM Modi Inaugurates ₹5,000 Crore Bhogapuram Airport, Launches ₹17,900 Crore Andhra Projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ₹5,000 crore Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram in Andhra Pradesh and launched development projects worth over ₹17,900 crore. During his visit, he also laid the foundation stone for the state's first semiconductor manufacturing facility, inaugurated major highway and power projects, and said the NDA government was working at "double speed" for Andhra's growth. Modi also took a veiled swipe at the Congress, saying airports should honour national icons instead of being named after "a single family."
