Post Protest, Volunteers Launch Cleanliness Drive At Jantar Mantar

Following Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation amid the NEET paper leak row, celebrations broke out at Jantar Mantar, with protesters dancing and waving flags. But the mood soon shifted — volunteers picked up brooms and garbage bags, launching a cleanliness drive and urging others to join before dispersing. Their effort ran alongside a massive NDMC operation, which cleared 27 metric tonnes of waste on July 24 alone, deploying dozens of sanitation workers, trucks, tippers and gobbler machines round the clock. Meanwhile, Delhi Metro restored normal operations, reopening all station gates after days of security-related restrictions in central Delhi.
