Praggnanandhaa Surprised By CM Vijay's Chess Skills During Felicitation Ceremony | Watch

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay felicitated Grandmaster Praggnanandhaa in Chennai after his historic Norway Chess 2026 triumph. Vijay presented the 20-year-old chess star with a cheque of Rs 50 lakh and later played a friendly game of chess with him. Praggnanandhaa praised the Tamil Nadu government's support for young talent and sportsmanship. He also said he was surprised by the Chief Minister's chess skills. The event was attended by his mother Nagalakshmi and Minister Aadhav Arjuna.
