Poland has underscored India’s growing global significance, stating that Russian President Vladimir Putin "pays close attention" to what Prime Minister Narendra Modi says regarding the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. Polish Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski, described India as a “very important international player,” highlighting that its position carries credibility because it is not viewed as hostile towards Russia. According to him, voices like India’s are crucial in preventing further escalation at a time when the war shows no clear signs of resolution.
