Raghav Chadha Appointed Chairman Of Petitions Committee In Rajya Sabha Weeks After Joining BJP

Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice President of India CP Radhakrishnan has reconstituted the Upper House Committee on Petitions and appointed AAP MP Raghav Chadha as its chairperson. The reconstituted panel came into effect from May 20, according to an official notification. Besides Chadha, the committee includes Harsh Mahajan, Gulam Ali, Shambhu Sharan Patel, Mayankkumar Nayak, Masthan Rao Yadav Beedha, Jebi Mather Hisham, Subhasish Khuntia, Rwngwra Narzary, and Sandosh Kumar P. The committee examines petitions submitted by citizens on issues related to governance, public policy, and matters of public interest.
