Security On High Alert: Pak Drone Sighted In Jammu On Eve Of Article 370 Abrogation Anniversary

Security has been stepped up across Jammu and Kashmir ahead of the August 5 anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370. A suspected Pakistani drone was spotted hovering over forward villages in Kathua's Hiranagar sector before returning across the border, prompting the BSF and Jammu and Kashmir Police to launch a massive search operation to check for any airdropped payload. Separately, security forces intensified anti-terror operations in Poonch following intelligence inputs about the suspected movement of two groups of terrorists. An unexploded mortar shell was also recovered from a house in Kathua and safely removed by the Bomb Disposal Squad. The developments come amid heightened India-Pakistan border tensions and reports of Pakistan strengthening military deployment opposite India, keeping security agencies on high alert.
