Sonam Wangchuk Begins Indefinite Fast, Urges Nation To Join Education Reform Movement

Environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk has begun an indefinite hunger strike at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, backing demands for education reforms and greater autonomy for Ladakh. The fast is being held alongside the ongoing Cockroach Janta Party protest seeking the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged examination irregularities. Hundreds of students, farmers and activists have joined the agitation.
