‘Useless Fellows’: Kharge Loses Cool After Congress Workers Raise ‘DK-DK’ Slogans

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge appeared visibly upset during the Sankalpa Samavesha programme after some party workers raised “DK-DK” slogans at the event. Addressing the gathering, Kharge reminded workers that the programme belonged to the party and not to any individual leader. He criticised what he described as personality-centric sloganeering and stressed that Congress functions as an organisation rather than around individuals. Kharge, citing his 58 years of political experience, said several leaders had benefited significantly from the party's support despite making limited contributions. He also warned that footage from the event would be reviewed and disciplinary action could be taken against those responsible for disrupting the programme with the slogans.
