Former West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee alleged that her convoy was attacked with stones while she was visiting the family of deceased Trinamool Congress worker Birju Keot in North 24 Parganas. According to Banerjee, protesters intercepted her convoy, raised “thief” slogans and threw water bottles and footwear at her vehicle.
