Ajmer Farmers Encouraged to Apply for Crop Insurance Under PM Fasal Bima Yojana

Ajmer, July 27. Farmers in Ajmer district have until July 31 to apply for crop insurance under the Prime Minister's Crop Insurance Scheme. The state government has authorized the National Insurance Company Limited to implement this scheme effectively in the district.

According to the Joint Director of the Agriculture Department, farmers who take out crop loans, non-loan farmers, and sharecroppers will be able to insure their notified crops in 2026. Loan farmers will have their insurance processed through their respective bank branches. Participation in this scheme is entirely voluntary.
