Green Bay Packers Star Josh Jacobs Arrested on Multiple Charges
Josh Jacobs, a prominent running back for the Green Bay Packers, was taken into custody on Tuesday and is now held at Brown County Jail facing several charges. These include domestic battery, criminal property damage, disorderly conduct, strangulation, and victim intimidation. The Hobart/Lawrence Police Department reported that the arrest followed a disturbance call made on Saturday morning around 8:37 AM.
In light of the situation, the Packers issued a statement acknowledging the incident but refrained from providing further comments due to the ongoing legal proceedings. The NFL has also stated that it is aware of the situation and is in communication with the team.
Jacobs' legal representatives, David Z. Chesnoff, Richard A. Schonfeld, and Clarence Duchac, have asserted that the player “strongly denies the allegations” and noted that the investigation is still in its preliminary stages.
As news of Jacobs' arrest circulates, attention has shifted to his relationship with social media influencer Ashaley 'Ash Kaashh' Taunsu, known online as Ash Kash. The couple made their relationship public earlier in 2026, sharing moments from their vacations in St. Barts and Cancun. Jacobs later mentioned in a livestream that he and Ash Kash had been acquainted since 2021, despite only recently revealing their romance.
During the 2025-26 NFL offseason, Jacobs posted a Snapchat video of them holding hands on the beach, while Ash Kash shared more photos of them together, solidifying their relationship on social media.
Jacobs is recognized as one of the leading running backs in the NFL. He signed a lucrative four-year contract worth $48 million with the Packers in 2024 and has accumulated 2,258 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns over his two seasons with the team.
