“If I See Any Press….,” Photographers Publicly Apologise After Salman Khan's Angry Warning
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan grabbed headlines after expressing anger over paparazzi behaviour, both online and in person. The situation took another dramatic turn on Wednesday when photographers publicly apologised to the actor during an event in Mumbai.
Salman Khan attended the success party of Raja Shivaji, where he was surrounded by paparazzi as soon as he arrived. The photographers repeatedly said “sorry” to the actor for their behaviour a day earlier, when they reportedly created chaos during his hospital visit and invaded his privacy. Hearing the noise around him, Salman leaned forward and gestured to ask what had happened. After understanding that the paparazzi were apologising, the actor calmly indicated through gestures that everything was alright.
The controversy began after Salman Khan shared a series of emotional posts on social media late Tuesday night. The actor expressed disappointment and frustration over photographers gathering during a sensitive hospital visit and trying to capture moments despite the situation.
In one of his posts, Salman Khan wrote, “If I see any press at a hospital enjoying my pain. The press that I have stood for interacted with, took care to make sure that they also earn their bread and butter. But if they wanna make money from my losses, keep quiet, don’t enjoy. bhai bhai bhai matrabhumi picture ki maaa ki aankh, pic imp hai ya life (sic)”.
He added, “Aise main sau jala doonga. Bhai k ek bhai k dukh par agli baar try kar lena mere sath. Buss try kar lena …. Jab bhi tumhara koi hospital mai hoga kya mai aisa react karoonga?”
In his final post, Salman Khan warned, “Saath saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahiiin bhoola yeh yaad rakh lena, jail mein dalo ge haaa haaa”.
The actor’s posts quickly went viral across social media platforms. Fans, friends from the film industry and celebrities flooded the comments section with messages of support. However, a section of social media users appeared confused by some parts of the captions and became concerned about the actor’s emotional state following the incident.
