ISRO Invites Applications for Junior Research Fellow Positions

Candidates must meet the following academic requirements:
- ME/M.Tech/M.Sc. (Engineering) or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA for most disciplines.
- For Mathematics and Physics-related positions, candidates must possess an M.Sc. degree with a minimum of 65% marks.
In addition, applicants must have qualified in at least one national-level examination such as:
- GATE
- NET
- JAM
- JEST
- Any other recognized equivalent examination
- Maximum age: 28 years
- Age will be calculated as on July 11, 2026.
Age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates as per Government of India norms.
Selection ProcessThe recruitment process will be conducted in two stages:
1. ShortlistingCandidates will be shortlisted based on academic performance, qualifications, and eligibility criteria.
2. Personal InterviewOnly shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview stage.
Final selection will be based on overall performance and suitability for the research position.

Monthly Fellowship- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): ₹37,000 per month
