Kotak Bank CEO Vaswani to step down for personal reasons

India's fourth largest private lender Kotak Mahindra Bank said ‌on ⁠Saturday ⁠its CEO and managing director, Ashok Vaswani, will not seek ⁠reappointment after the ‌end of his ⁠term on December 31, 2026 for personal reasons.

The ​board has started the ‌process of appointing a ​new ​CEO, the ⁠bank said in an exchange filing.
