Ramayana trailer creates history with 350 million views in 48 hours

Mumbai: The trailer of the big-budget film Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, has created a new record by crossing 350 million (35 crore+) views across all official digital platforms within just 48 hours of its release.

Produced jointly by Prime Focus Studios, DNEG and Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana: Part 1, starring Ranbir Kapoor, is scheduled for a Diwali 2026 theatrical release.

The trailer has received an overwhelming response on YouTube and other social media platforms, with viewers praising its grand visuals and scale.

Ranbir Kapoor will portray Lord Ram, while Yash plays Ravana. Sai Pallavi stars as Sita, and Rakul Preet Singh essays the role of Shurpanakha.
