Malayalam film Sukhamano Sukhamann, starring Mathew Thomas and Devika Sanjay, is finally getting its OTT release after its theatrical run earlier this year. The romantic fantasy comedy, which opened in cinemas on February 13, will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video from May 29. The makers confirmed the release update on Monday.

The film marks the first on-screen pairing of Mathew Thomas and Devika Sanjay. Directed by debutant Arunlal Ramachandran, the movie mixes romance, comedy and fantasy elements while also touching on loneliness and emotional healing. Arunlal Ramachandran had earlier worked as a writer on films like 10:30 AM Local Call, Thank You, Happy Journey and Vettah.

When and where to watch ‘Sukhamano Sukhamann’
The film will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from May 29. After receiving a decent response in theatres, the makers are now preparing for its digital release, which is expected to help the movie reach a wider audience.

There had earlier been reports suggesting that the movie could arrive on OTT sometime after its theatrical run, but the official streaming platform and date have now been confirmed.

Story revolves around an ambulance driver
In the film, Mathew Thomas plays Theo, an ambulance driver dealing with loneliness and emotional trauma. His life slowly changes after he starts seeing the dead bodies of people he transports for funerals. The fantasy-driven premise becomes the base for both emotional moments and comedy scenes in the film.

Devika Sanjay plays the female lead opposite Mathew Thomas. The cast also includes Jagadish, Manikuttan, Noby Marcose, Spadikam George, Assim Jamal, Abin Bino and Jibin Gopinath in important roles. Supporting performances in the film were also handled by several familiar Malayalam cinema faces.

Crew and production details
Sukhamano Sukhamann is backed by producer Gaurav Chanana under the banner of Lucifer Circus, while Garima Vohra is attached as co-producer.

The technical team includes cinematographer Tobin Thomas, editor Appu Bhattathiri and music director Nipin Bessant. The audio rights of the film are owned by Lucifer Music.
