[Update] Fractal IPO: Shares End First Trading Session 6% Below Issue Price
Shares of Fractal Analytics dropped following their listing to touch an intraday low at ₹832.10 on the BSE. The stock, however, recovered to end the first trading session at ₹847.40, a 5.84% decline from the issue and listing price.
The company’s market capitalisation stood at ₹14,572.32 Cr (about $1.6 Bn) at the end of the session.
On the NSE, the stock closed at ₹837.70, down 6.92% from the issue price and 4.37% from the listing price.

The company’s ₹2,833.9 Cr IPO comprised a fresh issue of shares worth ₹1,023.54 Cr and an offer-for-sale (OFS) component of ₹1,810.4 Cr. The issue closed with 2.66X oversubscription. The price band for the IPO was set at ₹857-₹900 per share.
Onida Group’s Gulu Mirchandani’s GLM Family Trust raked in ₹450 Cr by offloading 50 Lakh shares via the OFS. VC firm Apax Partners raked in a 5.2X return on its initial investment by offloading 97.8 Lakh shares for ₹880.9 Cr.
Founded in 2000 by Srikanth Velamakanni and Pranay Agrawala, Fractal is an enterprise AI and analytics company that helps businesses improve decision-making using data science, machine learning and GenAI.
On the financial front, Fractal’s net profit declined about 3% to ₹70.9 Cr in H1 FY26 from ₹72.9 Cr in the year-ago period. Operating revenue grew 20% to ₹1,559 Cr from ₹1,300.7 Cr in H1 FY25.
With the listing, Fractal Analytics joined two new-age tech companies – Amagi and Shadowfax – that went public last month. Meanwhile, yet another new-age tech company Aye Finance also made its market debut today, listing flat at ₹129 issue price on the exchanges.
