ExtraEmily gets police warning over expired registration and finally changes IRL streams after three Twitch bans
ExtraEmily has made a major change to her IRL streaming after being pulled over by police during an off-stream drive. The Twitch streamer received a warning instead of a ticket because her vehicle registration had been expired since January 2024. Just days later, she revealed she has hired a driver for future streams. The move comes after three Twitch bans linked to distracted driving, making safety a bigger focus for both her and her viewers.
ExtraEmily gets warning after sheriff finds registration expired since January 2024
ExtraEmily shared the incident during her July 14 stream, explaining that she was not live when the traffic stop happened. She said she became nervous as soon as she saw the sheriff’s lights behind her because she had never been pulled over before.
When the officer checked her vehicle, he found that the registration had expired in January 2024. That meant it had been out of date for more than two years. Even so, the officer decided not to issue a ticket and instead gave her a warning.
ExtraEmily told viewers she appreciated the decision and promised she would get the registration renewed the following week. The story was first reported by Dexerto, which also shared images from the incident and her later stream.
The warning came at a time when many viewers were already talking about her driving content. While this stop was unrelated to streaming, it added to ongoing discussions about road safety and her on-camera driving habits.
