During the rapid fire round on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan, Arjun Kapoor was posed with the choice of 'Kill, Marry, and Hook Up' among Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif. Arjun promptly responded that he’d ‘marry Anushka’. Varun Dhawan chimed in, teasingly adding, ‘you always wanted to.’


During the promotions of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil , Ranbir Kapoor playfully teased Anushka Sharma about her knack for friend-zoning a 'Kapoor'. Ranbir jokingly remarked, “Mujhe pata hai, jo actually dosti dosti mein, unhe, inse pyaar ho gaya hai. Aur inhone bola ki, aisa nahi hai, mai bas dost hi hoon. Yeh actually friend-zoning mein champion hai. Mai Sirf yeh bolunga, unka surname bhi kapoor hai.”


Anushka Sharma tied the knot with Virat Kohli in 2017, and since then, they've been painting the town red with their adorable displays of affection for each other. They welcomed their baby girl, Vamika, on January 11, 2021, and their son, Akaay, joined their family on February 15, 2023.

Earlier this month, Anushka Sharma made her first public appearance since welcoming her son, Akaay, with Virat Kohli. Additionally, Anushka marked her 36th birthday on May 1 by hosting a small gathering in Bengaluru.


Anushka and Virat announced the arrival of their second child in February this year. At the time, they issued a statement saying, “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on February 15, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world!”

On the work front, Anushka Sharma is set to star in "Chakda Xpress," a biopic on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. This marks her return to the big screen after a hiatus of almost four years, her last appearance being in "Zero" alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The upcoming sports drama will be available for streaming on Netflix in the near future.
