'9 Years Of Seva': PM Modi Expresses Gratitude To The Nation On Completing 9 Years In Power

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday celebrated the completion of 9 years in office by sharing the BJP government's developmental journey and highlighting the benefits of various government schemes.

It also gives an opportunity to highlight how people have benefited from various Government schemes."

"Today, as we complete 9 years in service to the nation, I am filled with humility and gratitude. Every decision made, every action taken, has been guided by the desire to improve the lives of people. We will keep working even harder to build a developed India ," he added.

The BJP-led government marked its nine-year tenure on May 26, showcasing the achievements of the NDA government.

Senior BJP leaders, including Union ministers and chief ministers, embarked on a nationwide outreach program on Monday to highlight the accomplishments of the PM Modi-led government.

To commemorate the occasion, the BJP has planned a month-long mass connect exercise starting from May 30, the day the Modi government took oath for its second term in 2019. PM Modi is scheduled to address a rally in Ajmer, Rajasthan, a Congress-ruled state where assembly polls will be held later this year.

The press conferences held by BJP leaders in every state of the country highlighted various initiatives, including India's enhanced global standing, emphasis on national security, welfare measures such as affordable housing and sanitation facilities for the underprivileged, improvements in piped water supply, infrastructure growth, and efforts to boost the manufacturing sector.

In response to PM Modi's nine-year tenure, the Congress party had previously posed nine questions on issues such as inflation, unemployment, and farmers' income. They demanded an apology for what they perceived as a "betrayal" during his tenure.

The opposition party also suggested that the government should observe the anniversary as ' Maafi Diwas '.
