The wrestlers, including prominent figures such as Vinesh Phogat, Sakshee Malikkh , and Bajrang Punia, are protesting against the Wrestling Federation of India ( WFI ) chief, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, regarding allegations of sexual harassment, including those involving a minor.

Wrestler Sakshee Malikkh shared a statement on Twitter affirming that the protesting wrestlers will travel to Haridwar and perform the ceremonial act of immersing their medals in the Ganga river at 6 PM.
