Upcoming iPhone 15 Pro Models To Use LIPO Technology For Its Display: Smaller Bezels, Larger Display

New Delhi: Rumours abound as Apple gears up to launch its latest iPhone series in September this year. The tech giant has been on a relentless quest to create the ultimate ‘dream iPhone’ that boasts an all-screen design without any bezels or cutouts for cameras and sensors.

Years of Innovation and Progress
Since the release of the iPhone X in 2017, Apple has been pushing the boundaries to extend the display size and minimise the notch. In the pursuit of the ultimate all-screen design, the company introduced the Dynamic Island design last year, gradually reducing the notch size.

Introducing LIPO Technology: The Game-Changer
Apple is set to revolutionise the smartphone industry with its cutting-edge ‘low-injection pressure over-molding’ (LIPO) technology. Already featured in the Apple Watch Series 7, LIPO will allow Apple to shrink the border size on the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models from 2.2 millimetres to a mere 1.5 millimetres, resulting in a truly immersive all-screen experience. The technology is also rumoured to be making its way to iPad devices in the future.

iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max: More than Just a New Display
Aside from the groundbreaking all-screen design, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will boast an array of impressive features. Reports suggest a titanium frame for enhanced durability, solid-state buttons with haptic feedback, and increased RAM for smoother performance.

A Glimpse into the Pro Models' Additional Upgrades
Rumoured features for the iPhone 15 Pro models include a USB-C port for faster charging and data transfer, a customisable Action button to cater to individual preferences, and an upgraded A17 Bionic chip to ensure top-tier processing power. Moreover, the devices will support Wi-Fi 6E for faster and more reliable internet connectivity, and an improved Ultra Wideband chip for enhanced location-based capabilities.

Preparing for a Heavier Price Tag
As with each iteration, Apple enthusiasts should prepare for a slight dent in their wallets. According to Bloomberg 's Mark Gunman , all four iPhone 15 models are expected to be pricier across the US. The iPhone 15 Pro is speculated to be $100 more expensive than its predecessor, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max could cost between $100 to $200 more than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
