While the updates are welcome, there is an important detail buyers should keep in mind regarding variant-wise availability.

What’s New in the 2026 Royal Enfield Classic 350?

The biggest highlight of the 2026 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is the addition of a slipper and assist clutch . This feature reduces clutch effort during city riding and helps prevent rear-wheel hop during aggressive downshifts, making gear changes smoother and less tiring for riders.

Another useful update is the inclusion of a faster USB Type-C charging port, allowing riders to charge smartphones, navigation devices and other accessories more conveniently while on the move.

However, these upgrades are not available across the entire range. Royal Enfield has confirmed that the slipper and assist clutch and the USB Type-C charging feature will be offered only on the dual-channel ABS variants of the motorcycle. The entry-level single-channel ABS version continues without these additions.

Engine and Performance Remain Unchanged

Mechanically, the motorcycle remains familiar. The 2026 Royal Enfield Classic 350 continues to be powered by the brand's proven 349cc J-series single-cylinder engine.

This engine is shared with several other models in Royal Enfield's 350cc portfolio, including the Meteor 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Goan Classic 350. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and produces 20.2 hp and 27 Nm of torque.

The J-series engine is known for its refined character, strong low-end torque and relaxed cruising ability, making the Classic 350 well suited for both daily commuting and weekend highway rides.
