BYD Denza Z9GT India Launch Soon? Check 1,140 HP EV’s Features And Range
Denza is one of the electric vehicle brands under BYD, and the company is preparing to establish the marque in India. The Denza D9 luxury MPV is expected to be the brand's first model for the Indian market, while the Denza Z9GT could follow as another important product.
The design of the Z9GT was patented in India in March last year. While there is no confirmed launch date yet, the electric fastback is expected to arrive in India by early 2027. Globally, the model is offered with both plug-in hybrid and all-electric powertrains. For India, the all-electric version is expected to be the more likely choice.
A clamshell bonnet and lower bumper air vents add to its sporty appearance while supporting cooling and aerodynamic requirements. The side profile gets frameless windows, flush door handles, 21-inch alloy wheels and a sloping roofline, complemented by a distinctive Z-shaped character line.
At the rear, wing-shaped horizontal LED taillights, a subtle roof spoiler and a large black bumper complete the fastback styling.

Other highlights include an augmented-reality head-up display, a 20-speaker Devialet sound system, heated, ventilated and massage seats, reclining rear seats, ambient lighting and dual wireless charging pads.
Rear passengers are also expected to benefit from electrically adjustable footrests and built-in cooling and heating compartments.
The electric fastback can reportedly accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, while its top speed is rated at up to 270 km/h.
The car also features rear-wheel steering and a Crab Walk mode, adding to its manoeuvrability. Safety equipment is expected to include Level 2+ ADAS, nine to 10 airbags, a 360-degree surround-view camera, digital side mirrors and high-speed tyre blowout stabilisation.

1,140 HP And 1,210 Nm Torque
The Denza Z9GT's headline figures come from its triple electric motor setup, comprising two motors at the rear and one at the front. Combined output stands at an impressive 1,140 hp and 1,210 Nm.The electric fastback can reportedly accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, while its top speed is rated at up to 270 km/h.
122.5kWh Battery And 600km Range
Power comes from a 122.5kWh battery, with the Z9GT offering a claimed WLTP range of up to 600km on a single charge. It also supports 1500kW Flash Ultra Charging, with the claimed ability to charge from 10 to 97 per cent in nine minutes.The car also features rear-wheel steering and a Crab Walk mode, adding to its manoeuvrability.
