Porsche has made a significant leap in its iconic 911 lineup by introducing the hybrid 2024 Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera 4 GTS models. After their global reveal just two days ago, these new hybrids are now available for the Indian market, with prices starting at Rs 1.99 crores for the 911 Carrera and Rs 2.75 crores for the 911 Carrera 4 GTS. The company has opened bookings for both models, which can be made online or at the nearest dealership. Deliveries are expected to begin by the end of the year.

The standout feature of the 2024 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS is its newly developed 3.6-litre hybrid petrol engine. This innovative powertrain, termed the T-Hybrid petrol-electric system, combines a traditional 3.6-litre six-cylinder boxer engine with a gearbox-mounted electric motor and a 1.9 kWh lithium-ion battery. The boxer engine on its own generates an impressive 485bhp and 570Nm of torque.
