The all new Tata Sierra EV expected to be an excellent reimagination of the iconic Tata Sierra form the 1990's as a modern electric SUV and is also expected to be Tata's one of the best launches in the EV category giving a great competitive edge to its rivals.
Tata Motors has already stated the Sierra EV to launch somewhere in the second quarter of the financial year 2027 (Q2 FY2027) which corresponds to approximately July-September 2026. Some early reports suggested an April-June launch window for the Sierra EV but the latest guidance point to the second quarter of FY2027.
The Tata Sierra EV is expected to launch in 4 variants-
1. Smart (Base variant) – The Smart Variant of the Sierra EV provides a 55kwh battery with a Rear-Wheel-Drive setting at an expected price point of 17-18 lakhs.
2. Pure – The Pure Variant of the Sierra EV provides 65kwh battery with a Rear-Wheel-Drive setting at an expected price point of 19-20 lakhs.
