New TFT Console With Smart Connectivity

The 2025 version of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V now comes with a new 5-inch TFT display. This console supports Bluetooth connectivity, voice assist, and turn-by-turn navigation, making the ride more interactive and connected. However, these advanced features are limited to the top-spec variant, giving buyers a premium option with enhanced digital convenience.

Refreshed Styling And Modern Lighting Setup

To mark the 20th anniversary of the Apache brand, TVS has introduced a sharper, more aggressive design for the RTR 200 4V. The bike now features a mono-projector LED headlamp accompanied by twin daytime running lights (DRLs) placed below. This new setup not only improves night visibility but also adds a distinct, sporty character to the bike’s front profile, making it stand out in its class.

Enhanced Performance And Engine Output

Powering the Apache RTR 200 4V is a 197.7cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. It produces 20.8hp and 17.2Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox that offers a well-balanced power delivery. Riders can expect responsive throttle action, smooth gear shifts, and reliable performance both in city commuting and spirited highway runs.

Multiple Riding Modes For Different Conditions

The updated model offers three power modes – Sport, Urban, and Rain. Each mode fine-tunes the motorcycle’s performance characteristics, ensuring adaptability across riding conditions. The Sport mode delivers full power for dynamic acceleration, Urban mode provides a balanced output for everyday riding, and Rain mode limits torque for improved control on slippery surfaces. This feature significantly enhances rider confidence and versatility.

Advanced Safety And Control Features

Safety remains a core focus of the Apache RTR 200 4V. The motorcycle is equipped with a single-channel ABS and front and rear disc brakes for reliable braking performance. TVS has also added traction control to the latest update, helping prevent wheel spin during sudden acceleration or tricky road conditions. Combined with a stable chassis and superior grip, these features ensure a composed and secure riding experience.

Fuel Efficiency And Riding Range

The RTR 200 4V offers an official fuel efficiency of around 37kpl, which places it among the most efficient motorcycles in its segment. Its performance-to-efficiency ratio appeals to those who seek sporty performance without compromising on mileage. With this balance, the bike stands as a practical choice for both everyday riders and enthusiasts.

Colour Options And Visual Appeal

TVS offers the Apache RTR 200 4V in three bold colour schemes – Matte Black, Grey, and Gloss Black – all accentuated with striking red highlights. These tones reflect the bike’s sporty persona while maintaining a premium aesthetic. The sharp body lines and aerodynamic contours further amplify its street-ready look.

Price Revision After GST 2.0 Implementation

Following the GST 2.0 changes, the Apache RTR 200 4V has become more affordable across its variants. The base model now starts at Rs 1.41 lakh (ex-showroom), down from Rs 1.45 lakh, while the top-end variant, which earlier cost Rs 1.60 lakh, is now priced at Rs 1.49 lakh. Depending on the variant, this translates to savings between Rs 4,000 and Rs 11,000. The price reduction enhances its appeal, making it one of the best-value offerings in its class.

Celebrating Two Decades Of Apache Legacy

Over the past 20 years, the Apache brand has built a strong following for its combination of performance, design, and innovation. The refreshed RTR 200 4V continues that legacy with new-age features and improved ergonomics. With its balance of power, control, and technology, this motorcycle remains a benchmark in the 200cc category, appealing equally to young riders and seasoned commuters.
