EPFO FY26 interest credit has become one of the most searched topics as millions of Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) subscribers check whether the annual interest has been credited to their accounts. The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has started processing the FY 2025-26 interest at 8.25%, allowing members to verify their updated PF balance through multiple online platforms, including the Member Passbook portal, Passbook Lite , and the UMANG app .

EPFO Begins Crediting FY26 Interest to Member Accounts


With the annual interest credit process underway, EPF subscribers across the country are logging into their accounts to check if the latest interest amount has been added. The EPFO is crediting 8.25% annual interest for the financial year 2025-26, with the benefit expected to reach nearly 34 crore member accounts.

According to the government, the interest amount - estimated at more than Rs 1.44 lakh crore - is being processed automatically before undergoing verification by EPFO field offices. Once the verification process is completed, the updated balance becomes visible in members' passbooks.
