Delhi Govt Launches ₹50-Crore Handicraft Training Scheme for Youth and Artisans
The Delhi government has unveiled a ₹50-crore scheme aimed at reviving traditional crafts while creating employment opportunities for young people and artisans. Announced by Industries Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, the initiative will be implemented by the Delhi Khadi and Village Industries Board in the year 2025-26. The program is expected to benefit over 13,900 individuals through specialized training, providing a balance of heritage preservation and modern skill development.
