The maximum temperature, which has been hovering around 35–36°C, is likely to dip to nearly 32°C with the rainfall. Meanwhile, the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.7°C, almost 5 degrees above normal. The IMD has indicated that the coming days will see gradual relief from the scorching heat.
Delhi Air Quality Update: AQI in Moderate Range
Despite the rain, Delhi’s air quality remained in the ‘moderate’ category with an AQI of 114, as per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Morning humidity stood at 74%, adding to the sticky conditions before the showers provided relief.
