Rajasthan Horror: 15-Day-Old Infant Found With Mouth Stuffed With Stones and Sealed With Glue
In a shocking incident from Bhilwara, Rajasthan, a 15-day-old infant was found abandoned in a forest, with his mouth and thighs sealed with adhesive. Police revealed that the perpetrators had stuffed stones into the baby’s mouth and sealed it to muffle his cries, in a horrifying attempt to end his life. Miraculously, the infant survived. He was discovered by a cattle grazer near the Sita Ka Kund temple in Mandalgarh, writhing near a heap of stones with a stone still in his mouth, sealed with adhesive.
The grazer immediately alerted nearby villagers, who carefully removed the stone and rushed the infant to a government hospital in Bijolia. Doctors confirmed the baby bore adhesive marks on his mouth and thighs. “The baby is about 15 to 20 days old and is under treatment," police told PTI, adding that he is currently being monitored closely for any complications. Authorities are investigating the case to track down those responsible for the brutal act.
In a separate and equally tragic incident, a 10-month-old girl was found dead in an abandoned room near National Highway-19 in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh. Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Manglik reported that the body was discovered on Saturday night inside a doorless room elevated about five feet above the ground, approximately 200 metres from the highway in Rajapur village.
A post-mortem examination confirmed that the infant had been smothered to death. “No external injuries were visible on the child’s body,” Manglik said. The girl was dressed in clothes suggesting she came from a well-off family, and a white towel was also found near the body. Local residents had not identified the child. Police suspect the baby may have been killed by someone traveling on the highway and left in the abandoned room. A forensic team has inspected the site, and CCTV footage from surrounding areas is being reviewed to trace the perpetrators. “A detailed investigation into the matter is ongoing,” the SP confirmed.
