SIO, Solidarity Movement protest in Kozhikode over Israel's attack in Qatar

Kozhikode: Solidarity Youth Movement and Students Islamic Organisation (SIO), the youth and student wings of Jamaat-e-Islami respectively, staged a protest march in Kozhikode against Israel's attack targeting Hamas leaders in Qatar.

"This is the time to stand united against Zionist terrorism, which has become a threat to global peace," Solidarity state president Taufiq Mampad said.

He added that the strike on Hamas leaders, who had arrived in Qatar for ceasefire talks, was also a clear declaration that the US and Israel will never allow peace to prevail in the Muslim world.

SIO state president Abdul Wahid said that the attack, carried out in blatant violation of moral principles and against the sovereignty of another nation, amounted to sheer arrogance.
