CCTV Captures Kaushambi LPG Tanker Crash That Triggered Deadly Fire, Four Killed
At least four people have lost their lives and two others remain injured after an LPG tanker caught fire near the Sihori Toll Plaza in Uttar Pradesh's Kaushambi district, police said on Thursday.
The tragic LPG tanker accident took place on the morning of June 26 under the Kokhraj police station limits. The tanker was travelling from Kanpur to Varanasi when it reportedly lost control, crashed into a road divider, and triggered a massive fire.
CCTV footage of the incident has now surfaced, showing the speeding tanker crashing into the divider moments before the blaze erupted. The visuals capture the sequence of events leading to the devastating fire.
Unable to escape the flames, he died at the scene of the accident.
One of the injured employees, Alok Singh, succumbed to his injuries during treatment the following day.
With their deaths, the total death toll in the Kaushambi LPG tanker fire has risen to four.
Meanwhile, two other injured toll plaza employees continue to receive treatment at SRN Hospital.
Police have taken the bodies into custody for postmortem examination, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the LPG tanker accident and the subsequent fire.

Tanker Driver Dies After Getting Trapped Inside Cabin
The LPG tanker driver, identified as Dharmendra Dwivedi, a resident of Mirzapur district in Uttar Pradesh, was trapped inside the vehicle's cabin after the crash.You may also like

Toll Plaza Employees Suffer Severe Burn Injuries
Five employees working at the Sihori Toll Plaza sustained severe burn injuries in the incident. They were immediately shifted to Swaroop Rani Nehru (SRN) Hospital in Prayagraj for treatment.One of the injured employees, Alok Singh, succumbed to his injuries during treatment the following day.
Death Toll Climbs to Four
On Thursday, two more injured toll plaza employees, Hiramani Singh, a resident of Raebareli, and Krishnapal Maurya, a resident of Lalitpur, also died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.With their deaths, the total death toll in the Kaushambi LPG tanker fire has risen to four.
Meanwhile, two other injured toll plaza employees continue to receive treatment at SRN Hospital.
Police Confirm Casualties, Investigation Underway
Kokhraj Station House Officer Chandra Bhushan Maurya confirmed the latest fatalities, saying, "Two more injured victims have died during treatment. Four people have died in the incident so far, while two others are still undergoing treatment.
